यसरी अगाडि बढ्दै जाँदा एउटा Pattern भेटिन्छ।
त्यही Pattern नै Series को मुख्य Logic हो।
एकपटक Pattern पत्ता लागिसकेपछि त्यसैको आधारमा Answer निकाल्न सकिन्छ।

Number Series मा Difference निकाल्ने तरिका
Number Series मा Pattern पत्ता लगाउने सबैभन्दा पहिलो र सजिलो तरिका हो:
Difference निकाल्ने
उदाहरण:
1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6
अब दुईवटा Numbers बीचको Difference निकालौँ।
2 − 1 = 1
3 − 2 = 1
4 − 3 = 1
यहाँ प्रत्येकपटक Difference 1 आएको छ।
अर्थात् Series मा Constant Difference छ।
त्यसैले Pattern:
+1, +1, +1, +1…
हो।

यदि Difference Constant छैन र धेरै छिटो बढिरहेको छ भने Series मा:

Addition Series मा हरेकपटक एउटै Number मात्र थपिनुपर्छ भन्ने छैन।
जस्तै:

जस्ता Pattern पनि हुन सक्छन्।
त्यसैले Addition Series पहिचान गरिसकेपछि ठ्याक्कै के थपिँदैछ? भन्ने कुरा पत्ता लगाउनुपर्छ।

त्यसैले:

त्यसैले अर्को:

त्यसैले Division को Logic जाँचौँ।

72 ÷ 2 = 36
36 ÷ 3 = 12
12 ÷ 2 = 6
6 ÷ 3 = 2
त्यसैले Missing Number:

हो।
Pattern:

संख्यात्मक Series का थप प्रकारहरू
५. Square Number Series
अब अर्को प्रकारको Series भनेको Square Number Series हो।
उदाहरणका लागि:
0, 3, 8, 15, 24, 35, ?, 63
यसलाई हेर्दा सिधै कुनै सामान्य addition वा subtraction देखिँदैन।
अब यसलाई यसरी हेर्नुहोस्:
• 0 = 1² − 1
• 3 = 2² − 1
• 8 = 3² − 1
• 15 = 4² − 1
• 24 = 5² − 1
• 35 = 6² − 1
त्यसैले अर्को संख्या:
7² − 1 = 49 − 1 = 48
अर्थात् missing number 48 हो।
त्यसैले कुनै Series मा संख्याहरूको अन्तर छिटो-छिटो बढिरहेको छ भने Square वा Cube pattern पनि जाँच गर्नुपर्छ।

Cube Series मा संख्याहरूलाई घनको रूपमा लिन सकिन्छ।
उदाहरण:

यी संख्याहरूलाई हेर्दा:
• 64 = 4³
• 125 = 5³
• 216 = 6³
• 343 = 7³
त्यसैले यो Cube Number Series हो।
अर्को संख्या भए:
8³ = 512
त्यसैले Square र Cube दुवैलाई Series मा चिन्न सक्ने हुनुपर्छ।

यी सबै Prime Numbers हुन्।
यसको विपरीत Prime नभएका संख्याहरूलाई Composite Numbers भनिन्छ।
कहिलेकाहीँ Series मा Prime numbers सिधै प्रयोग नभएर Prime numbers लाई थपेर वा घटाएर पनि pattern बनाइएको हुन्छ।
त्यसैले Series हेर्दा Prime Number को pattern पनि सम्झनुपर्छ।

यसको सुरुवात सामान्यतया:

हेर्नुहोस्:

र यसरी नै Series अगाडि बढ्छ।
त्यसैले कुनै Series मा एउटा संख्या अघिल्ला दुई संख्याको योगसँग मिलिरहेको छ भने Fibonacci pattern जाँच गर्नुहोस्।
