Slide 1: Title Slide
Presenter 1
"Good morning everyone. We are Team BatteryX. Our tagline says it all — Know the Battery Before You Buy the EV. Today, we're going to show you how we're solving one of the biggest trust problems in the used electric vehicle market."
---
Slide 2: The Problem
Presenter 1
"Imagine you're buying a used EV. The seller says the battery is in great condition. But how do you actually verify that? The truth is — you can't. One of the biggest challenges in the used-EV market is that buyers cannot easily determine the actual condition of a vehicle's battery. Sellers make claims, but buyers have no reliable evidence. This information gap creates hesitation, lowers resale confidence, and slows down the entire used-EV market — especially in India, where the EV market is growing fast."
---
Slide 3: Our Solution
Presenter 1
"BatteryX solves this with a single digital platform that connects EV owners, buyers, dealerships, and existing EV service centres. We provide three core things: Digital Battery Passports with unique IDs and QR codes, verified battery health reports from professional inspections, and a used-EV marketplace where listings are backed by real battery records. In short — we make battery health visible, verifiable, and portable."
---
Slide 4: Digital Battery Passport
Presenter 2
"Let me walk you through our first core feature — the Digital Battery Passport. Every registered battery gets a unique BatteryX ID and a QR code. This passport stores battery identification and specs, vehicle information, ownership and service records, inspection reports, and verification status. The key idea is that this passport travels with the battery — it updates as the battery is inspected or changes ownership. It's a permanent, portable digital identity for the battery."
---
Slide 5: Verified Battery Health Reports
Presenter 2
"Next — Verified Battery Health Reports. BatteryX does not guess battery health from an online form. Instead, we connect owners with participating EV service centres, where qualified technicians use proper diagnostic equipment. Reports can include State of Health when reliably measurable, usable capacity, performance indicators, fault information, and inspection details. Critically, owner-entered information is kept separate from professionally verified results. That separation is what makes our verification trustworthy."
---
Slide 6: Verified Used-EV Marketplace
Presenter 2
"Third — our Verified Used-EV Marketplace. Individual owners and dealerships can list used EVs with photos, specifications, asking price, the Battery Passport QR code, and available inspection reports. Buyers can scan the QR code and review battery records before even contacting the seller. This turns a blind purchase into an informed decision — and helps dealerships build trust and sell with confidence."
---
Slide 7: How It Works
Presenter 3
"So how does BatteryX work end-to-end? It's an eight-step journey. One — an EV owner registers their vehicle and enters battery details. Two — BatteryX automatically generates a unique Battery ID and QR code. Three — the owner books an inspection at a participating service centre. Four — a qualified technician performs the inspection and uploads the report. Five — the report goes through BatteryX's verification and approval process. Six — the Battery Passport is updated with the verified record. Seven — the owner lists the vehicle for sale. And eight — a buyer simply scans the QR code to view available battery information and verified reports. Simple for the user, rigorous behind the scenes."
---
Slide 8: Target Customers
Presenter 3
"Who is this for? Our primary customers are individual EV owners, used EV buyers and sellers, and second-hand EV dealerships. We also serve EV service and battery-testing centres — they get more customers and digital tools. And looking ahead, there's a major future expansion opportunity with commercial EV fleet operators. Each of these groups feels the same pain: the need for trusted battery information."
---
Slide 9: Business & Revenue Model
Presenter 3
"How do we make money? Four channels. First — inspection revenue: a platform fee or commission for connecting owners with testing centres, illustratively ₹499 to ₹999 per inspection. Second — dealership subscriptions: ₹999 to ₹2,499 per month for managing listings, passports, and reports. Third — premium listings: ₹99 to ₹299 for featured visibility. Fourth — service-centre partnerships: digital report management and referral tools. These prices are illustrative and will be validated with real customers and testing-centre costs."
---
Slide 10: Technology Stack
Presenter 4
"On the technical side, we've chosen a modern, fast-to-ship stack. Next.js and React on the frontend. Node.js and Next.js API routes on the backend. Supabase PostgreSQL for the database, Supabase Auth for authentication, Supabase Storage for file uploads, and a QR code generation library for the Battery IDs. We host on Vercel. This stack lets our small team move fast, keep costs low, and scale when needed."
---
Slide 11: MVP & Launch Strategy
Presenter 4
"Our launch strategy is focused and low-investment. Our MVP includes: user registration and login, EV and battery registration, unique Battery ID generation, the QR-based Digital Battery Passport, inspection report upload, admin approval of reports, a buyer-facing passport page, and a basic marketplace. Importantly — we are not building diagnostic hardware or manufacturer-specific BMS integrations. We use existing service-centre infrastructure for real inspections, and sample records for demonstrations. This means we can launch quickly, prove the model, and iterate."
---
Slide 12: Competitive Advantage, Future & Vision
Presenter 4
"What makes BatteryX defensible? We combine three things no one else does together: digital battery identity, professional inspection records, and resale services — in one connected platform. Our moat grows over time: inspection partnerships, traceable battery history that survives ownership changes, dealer relationships, and a growing database of verified battery data. Looking ahead, we can expand into technician networks, battery lifecycle analytics, fleet management, warranty partnerships, battery exchange, and second-life recycling. Our vision is to become India's trusted EV battery verification platform — and our mission is simple: make EV batteries easier to identify, inspect, verify, and evaluate, so buyers and sellers can decide with confidence. Thank you — we'd love your questions!"

Quick Tips for the Team
· Transitions: Presenter 1 → 2 after Slide 3; 2 → 3 after Slide 6; 3 → 4 after Slide 9. Keep handoffs verbal: "Now, [Name] will walk you through..."
· Demo moment (optional): If you have a live prototype, insert a 60-second demo after Slide 7 — show registering a battery, generating the QR, and scanning it to view a passport.
· Q&A prep: Expect questions on (1) how SoH is measured, (2) why service centres would partner, (3) data privacy/ownership of records, (4) how you'll acquire initial dealers. Answers are all in the deck — rehearse them.
· Timing: ~45 seconds per slide. Practice at least twice with a timer.
