Create a minimalistic, modern and highly professional PowerPoint presentation for the following project: **Project Title: Smart Weekly Medicine Reminder** **Subtitle:** An IoT-Based Medication Reminder and Health Monitoring Ecosystem with AI-Assisted Missed-Dose Risk Estimation. This is a B.Tech Societal Oriented Project (SOP) presentation. The target audience is college faculty, project evaluators and technical reviewers. ### 1. Design and visual direction Use a clean, minimalistic academic-professional design. - Primary background: White (#FFFFFF) or very light grey (#F7F8FA). - Primary text: Dark navy (#172B4D) or charcoal (#252B36). - Accent colour: Muted teal (#238C91). Use sparingly. - Use a consistent modern sans-serif font such as Inter, Aptos or similar. - Maintain generous whitespace and consistent margins. - Use thin dividers, subtle borders and simple geometric elements. - Use minimal line icons instead of colourful illustrations. - Avoid gradients, excessive shadows, neon colours, cartoon graphics and unnecessary decorations. - Use consistent typography and alignment throughout the deck. ### 2. Presentation structure Create approximately 15–17 slides with the following flow: 1. **Title Slide** - Smart Weekly Medicine Reminder - IoT-Based Medication Reminder & Health Monitoring System - Societal Oriented Project – Team 7 - Team Members: - Nitya Jujhavarapu – 2024510001 - Madhav Jayakumar – 2024510003 - Yogeshwara Perumal S – 2024510052 2. **Introduction & Background** - Importance of medication adherence. - Challenges faced by elderly people and patients with multiple prescriptions. - Need for an automated medication reminder system. 3. **Problem Statement & Proposed Solution** - Forgetting medication schedules. - Confusing dosage timings. - Lack of historical medication records. - Proposed IoT-based connected reminder and monitoring ecosystem. 4. **Project Objectives** - Precision timing using DS3231 RTC. - OLED, LED and buzzer-based alerts. - Push-button dose acknowledgment. - Heart rate and SpO₂ monitoring using MAX30102. - Web-based monitoring dashboard. - AI-assisted missed-dose risk estimation. 5. **System Architecture** Present a clear layered architecture: - Hardware and controller: ESP32, RTC, MAX30102 and OLED. - Communication: Wi-Fi. - Backend: FastAPI and SQLite. - Application: React.js and Vite. Show how information flows between these layers. 6. **Hardware Components** Include ESP32, DS3231 RTC, OLED display, MAX30102, LEDs, buzzer, push button and weekly pill organizer. Use a clean component layout with short descriptions. 7. **Technology Stack** - Embedded C++ and Arduino IDE. - HTTP Client and JSON payloads. - Python FastAPI backend. - SQLite database. - React.js and Vite frontend. Show the technology pipeline visually. 8. **Working Principle / Operational Flow** Show the following sequence using a simple numbered flow diagram: 1. RTC checks medication schedule. 2. Alarm activates. 3. OLED displays medication information. 4. LED and buzzer notify the user. 5. User presses the acknowledgment button. 6. ESP32 transmits event data to FastAPI. 7. SQLite stores the event and dashboard updates. 9. **Medication Schedule** Present the sample schedule: - Morning: 08:30 AM - Afternoon: 02:17 PM - Night: 08:30 PM Use a simple horizontal timeline or three minimal cards. 10. **Medication Event Logging** Explain the four stages: - Alert Triggered. - User Acknowledgment. - Wi-Fi Data Transmission. - Database Logging and Dashboard Update. Clearly state that button acknowledgment records a button press and does not independently verify actual medicine consumption. 11. **Health Monitoring** Explain MAX30102-based experimental monitoring: - Heart Rate (BPM). - Blood Oxygen Saturation (SpO₂). Use a simple sensor-to-dashboard visual. Include a disclaimer that readings are experimental and not intended for medical diagnosis. 12. **Web Dashboard** Showcase the React-based MediTrack dashboard. Include example medication status, historical compliance information and experimental vital readings. Use realistic dashboard-style visual elements rather than generic stock illustrations. 13. **AI-Based Missed-Dose Risk Estimation** Explain how medication history can be used to estimate the likelihood of missing upcoming doses. Consider: - Historical missed-dose patterns. - Medication timing. - Day-of-week compliance trends. - Consistency of user acknowledgments. Include the 65% elevated-risk example, clearly labelled as an illustrative model output, not a clinically validated prediction. 14. **Project Budget** Include a clean financial breakdown: | Component | Cost | | ESP32 | ₹450 | | DS3231 RTC | ₹150 | | OLED Display | ₹210 | | MAX30102 | ₹200 | | LEDs, Buzzer & Push Button | ₹120 | | Breadboard & Jumper Wires | ₹180 | | Weekly Pill Organizer | ₹150 | | Power Cables & Enclosure | ₹800 | Total estimated cost: ₹2,260. Budget range: ₹2,000–₹2,500. 15. **Testing & Verification** Cover: - ESP32 firmware compilation and flashing. - RTC synchronization. - OLED, LED and buzzer alerts. - MAX30102 telemetry acquisition. - Wi-Fi and HTTP transmission. - Button-to-database integration. Preserve the verification statuses from the reference presentation. Do not claim additional testing. 16. **Limitations & Future Scope** Current limitations: - Requires continuous power and Wi-Fi. - MAX30102 readings are experimental. - Button acknowledgment does not confirm actual medicine intake. - No automatic pill dispensing mechanism. Future scope: - Smart compartment sensors. - Caregiver mobile notifications. - Trained ML model deployment. - Battery backup and offline synchronization. 17. **Conclusion & Thank You** Summarize how the project combines IoT-based medication reminders, experimental health monitoring and predictive risk estimation to address a real societal need. ### 3. Visual and layout requirements - Use architecture diagrams, process flows, timelines and simple technical illustrations wherever appropriate. - Avoid paragraphs that occupy entire slides. - Convert lengthy explanations into concise bullet points. - Use diagrams to explain hardware connections and software communication. - Keep each slide focused on one main idea. - Use consistent iconography and spacing. - Use charts only where meaningful. - Make technical diagrams readable and logically connected. - Do not use random stock photos or irrelevant medical imagery. - Avoid repeating the same information across multiple slides. ### 4. Content accuracy requirements IMPORTANT: - Use the supplied reference PowerPoint as the primary source of truth. - Preserve all project-specific details, component names, technologies, team member details and budget figures. - Do not invent hardware, software features, test results or implementation claims. - Clearly distinguish implemented functionality from proposed future scope. - Do not portray the AI risk estimation as a clinically validated or fully deployed model. - Maintain the distinction between button acknowledgment and actual medicine consumption. - Do not remove important technical information just to make slides look minimalistic. ### 5. Final output Generate a complete, editable PowerPoint presentation (.pptx). The final presentation should resemble a professionally designed engineering project review deck: clean, structured, technically informative, visually balanced and suitable for a formal college evaluation. Prioritize clarity, consistency and professional presentation over decorative design.
Presentation overview
This community presentation was shared by Madhav Jayakumar as a complete 17-slide example. Create a minimalistic, modern and highly professional PowerPoint presentation for the following project: **Project Title: Smart Weekly Medicine Reminder** **Subtitle:** An IoT-B… The preview lets you review the full sequence in order, rather than judging the design from a single cover image.
Use it as a reference for planning your own deck: notice how the amount of information changes from slide to slide, where visual emphasis appears, and how repeated design choices help the presentation feel connected. Community examples are inspiration, not locked templates, so you can keep the ideas that fit your audience and replace anything that does not.
Learn from the example
Look at the job each slide performs. Identify where the deck introduces its subject, develops the main points, adds evidence or examples, and moves toward a conclusion.
Notice which element attracts attention first and how headings, supporting text, images, and data are separated. Strong hierarchy makes the intended reading order obvious.
Compare spacing, typography, color, and repeated components across the slides. Consistent rules help varied content feel like one presentation instead of unrelated screens.
Make it your own
Begin with your audience and the decision, lesson, or action the presentation should support. Replace the topic, examples, evidence, and visuals with material you can verify, then edit every slide for one clear takeaway. You can borrow the visual direction without copying the creator's wording or message. Presenton will use this community deck as a design reference while you develop content for your own purpose.
