give the slide with same interface (given below 1 st png ) and use other theme Slide 2: Introduction A Smart Hand Wash System is an automatic hand-washing device that dispenses water without requiring the user to touch a tap or switch. - It uses an IR sensor module to detect the presence of hands. - A TIP42C transistor acts as an electronic switching device. - A small DC water pump supplies water when the sensor detects a hand. - The system helps improve hygiene and reduce unnecessary water usage. Slide 3: Objectives - To design a touchless hand-washing system. - To detect the presence of hands using an IR sensor. - To control a water pump automatically. - To reduce contact with potentially contaminated surfaces. - To provide a simple, low-cost automation solution. Slide 4: Components Required 1. IR Sensor Module Detects the presence of a hand using infrared light. 2. TIP42C Transistor A PNP power transistor used to control the pump's power supply. 3. 1 kΩ Resistor Limits the current flowing into the transistor's base. 4. DC Water Pump Pumps water from a container to the hand-washing outlet. 5. 5 V DC Supply Provides electrical power to the circuit, subject to the pump and sensor ratings. 5. 5 V DC Supply Provides electrical power to the circuit, subject to the pump and sensor ratings. Slide 5: Circuit Diagram (add 2nd png) The circuit consists of an IR sensor, a 1 kΩ resistor, a TIP42C transistor, a DC water pump, and a 5 V DC supply. Main connections shown in the provided diagram: Component terminal Connection IR sensor VCC +5 V supply IR sensor GND Common ground IR sensor OUT Through 1 kΩ resistor to transistor base TIP42C emitter (E) +5 V supply TIP42C collector (C) Pump positive terminal Pump negative terminal Common ground The transistor base must receive the appropriate control signal from the sensor to switch the pump. Important: Verify the sensor's output polarity and the TIP42C pinout before powering the circuit. Add a suitable flyback diode across the pump, with its cathode toward the positive supply, to protect the transistor from motor voltage spikes. Slide 6: Working Principle The Smart Hand Wash System works automatically through the following steps: 1. The IR sensor continuously emits infrared light. 2. When a hand approaches the sensor, the reflected infrared light is detected. 3. The sensor produces an output signal. 4. The output signal controls the TIP42C transistor through the 1 kΩ resistor. 5. When the transistor switches ON, current flows through the water pump. 6. The pump supplies water to the outlet. 7. When the hand is removed, the sensor output changes and the pump switches OFF. This process allows the user to obtain water without touching a tap. Slide 7: Block Diagram Hand Detection-->IR Sensor-->Signal Control --->1 kΩ Resistor + TIP42C-->Water Dispensing-->5 V DC Pump -->Output -->Water flows to the user's hands Slide 8: Advantages - Touchless operation: No need to touch a tap or switch. - Improved hygiene: Helps reduce contact with contaminated surfaces. - Water conservation: Can reduce unnecessary water flow. - Low cost: Uses simple electronic components. - Easy to use: Suitable for children and adults. - Automation: The pump operates according to sensor detection. Slide 9: Applications - Homes and bathrooms. - Schools and colleges. - Hospitals and clinics. - Public washrooms. - Offices and commercial buildings. - Laboratories and other hygiene-sensitive environments. Slide 10: Limitations - The sensor's detection range depends on its adjustment and surroundings. - Strong ambient infrared light may affect detection. - The water pump requires a suitable power supply. - Incorrect transistor connections may damage components. - The system requires protection against water entering the electronics. - The basic circuit does not automatically measure the amount of water used. Slide 11: Future Scope The system can be improved by adding: - An automatic soap dispenser. - A microcontroller such as Arduino for better control. - Adjustable water-flow duration. - A water-level sensor to prevent dry running. - A rechargeable battery or solar power supply. - Water-flow measurement for monitoring consumption. Slide 12: Conclusion The Smart Hand Wash System is a simple and economical electronics project that uses an IR sensor to detect a user's hand and automatically control a DC water pump through a transistor switching circuit. It promotes touchless operation, supports better hygiene, and can help reduce water wastage. With additional features such as automatic soap dispensing and water-level monitoring, the system can be developed into a more advanced smart hand-washing unit. Presentation overview
This community presentation was shared by Unni as a complete 13-slide example. give the slide with same interface (given below 1 st png ) and use other theme Slide 2: Introduction A Smart Hand Wash System is an automatic hand-washing device that dispenses … The preview lets you review the full sequence in order, rather than judging the design from a single cover image.
Use it as a reference for planning your own deck: notice how the amount of information changes from slide to slide, where visual emphasis appears, and how repeated design choices help the presentation feel connected. Community examples are inspiration, not locked templates, so you can keep the ideas that fit your audience and replace anything that does not.
Learn from the example
Look at the job each slide performs. Identify where the deck introduces its subject, develops the main points, adds evidence or examples, and moves toward a conclusion.
Notice which element attracts attention first and how headings, supporting text, images, and data are separated. Strong hierarchy makes the intended reading order obvious.
Compare spacing, typography, color, and repeated components across the slides. Consistent rules help varied content feel like one presentation instead of unrelated screens.
Make it your own
Begin with your audience and the decision, lesson, or action the presentation should support. Replace the topic, examples, evidence, and visuals with material you can verify, then edit every slide for one clear takeaway. You can borrow the visual direction without copying the creator's wording or message. Presenton will use this community deck as a design reference while you develop content for your own purpose.
