Today, we are introducing Bring Your Own Key and Community Designs in Presenton Cloud.

These additions expand what an AI presentation generator can be. You can choose the AI providers that fit your budget and workflow, guide the visual direction with richer references, learn from designs shared by other creators, and keep the final deck editable.

You get that flexibility without deploying servers, maintaining a self-hosted installation, or building a presentation-generation pipeline from scratch. Presenton remains the presentation-building engine; you decide which models, sources, and design references should guide it.

Use your preferred AI models without consuming Presenton AI credits

With BYOK, you can connect your own API keys and use Presenton’s presentation-building engine directly in Presenton Cloud. BYOK presentations do not consume Presenton AI generation credits.

Choose frontier text models when you need their capabilities, or use smaller and more affordable options such as Gemma 3 1B or GPT-OSS 20B. Presenton’s generation workflow is designed to produce strong results across a wide range of providers.

Start with a prompt, then give the AI the references that matter

Smart Mode has been significantly upgraded. The familiar Smart Design workflow remains available, but you no longer need to begin with a predefined Smart Design.

Start with a simple prompt and enrich it with image references, website URLs, brand guidelines, documents, supporting materials, and specific content or design instructions.

Smart Mode interprets visual composition, color palettes, themes, typography, spacing, imagery, and brand direction, then applies that direction consistently across the deck. This makes Presenton useful as an AI presentation generator for more than a single prompt-to-slides flow.

Create, refine, and export BYOK presentations without Presenton export limits

BYOK presentations include unlimited exports from Presenton. You can iterate on the content, improve the design, and download the presentation whenever you need it.

Discover presentation designs created by the Presenton community

Community Designs introduce a new way to discover, share, rate, and reuse presentation designs created by other Presenton users.

Instead of starting every deck from a blank canvas or searching through disconnected presentation templates, you can select a community design as a reference and begin writing your own prompt.

Smart Mode analyzes the selected design’s colors, theme, typography, fonts, layout, and overall visual language. Those characteristics guide the new presentation without forcing you to manually rebuild the original deck.

A design reference, not a locked PowerPoint template

Traditional PowerPoint presentation templates usually give you a fixed set of slide layouts. Community Designs work differently: they give Smart Mode a visual system to understand and reinterpret for your new content.

This makes it easier to keep the qualities you liked in the reference—its typography, spacing, visual rhythm, palette, and layout logic—while creating a deck shaped around a new topic.
