About Presenton

Presentation software, built around your control.

Presenton is an open-source AI presentation platform for people who want faster creation without giving up editable files, brand control, model choice, or deployment freedom.

Why we built it

AI made decks faster. It did not always make them yours.

Presentation work has two parts. There is the blank-page work of finding the story, and there is the exacting work of making every slide fit the message, brand, and audience.

Many AI tools improve the first part, then lock the result inside a closed editor. We built Presenton to improve both parts while keeping the presentation portable. Start with AI, refine every detail, export an editable PowerPoint file, or run the presentation engine on infrastructure you control.

What guides us

Three decisions that shape Presenton

These are product decisions, not campaign lines. They determine how we build and what we refuse to compromise.

01

Editable by default

The first AI draft should never be the final boundary. Presentations export as editable PPTX files so people can keep working in familiar tools.

02

Your design system leads

Presenton can turn existing PPTX and PDF files into reusable templates. Your layouts, typography, colors, and structure guide new decks.

03

Deploy where the work belongs

Use the managed cloud, create locally, or self-host the open-source engine. Teams choose the model providers and infrastructure that fit their requirements.

The product idea

Less time arranging slides. More control over what they say.

Presenton combines generation, targeted editing, reusable presentation templates, data components, and export in one workflow. It works for a person making a single deck and for a developer generating presentations through an API.

Open source

Software you can inspect, run, and extend

Presenton’s core is available under the Apache 2.0 license. Open source gives teams a practical path to control their data, models, templates, and presentation infrastructure.

01

Run it yourself

Deploy Presenton with Docker on infrastructure you manage, including private environments.

02

Choose your models

Connect supported AI providers or local models according to your workflow and deployment needs.

03

Build on the API

Generate, edit, and export presentations from products, reporting systems, internal tools, or automated workflows.

04

Contribute back

Open issues, propose improvements, create templates, and help shape a presentation platform built in public.

The people behind Presenton

A focused team building serious presentation infrastructure

Presenton is built by a small team across product, design, and engineering, together with open-source contributors. We care about dependable exports, clean interfaces, useful AI, and the details that make a deck ready to present.
